Full organization and event management of a milestone birthday party.

Concept

40 years - an important number in someone's life which should be celebrated with a special party. The Wonderful Events team knew that among Christine's hobbies are travelling and getting to know different cultures; therefore, they were looking for an exotic location for her celebration, which they eventually found: the "Bali house" in Hochwald, where the guests could feel like in Asia for an evening and listen to the beautiful ambient sound played live by AWI.

Brief Description

Christine was looking for a special, interesting, and extraordinary venue for her 40th birthday party and it was clear from the start that this was not going to be a restaurant. It should be a cosy place where the guests can feel at home. In the middle of nowhere, out in the countryside, in a small village called Hochwald, the Wonderful Events team found just the right location for her: "the Bali house", which can be rented for celebrations for up to 30 people and which makes one feel like being on holidays in the Far East for a few hours. The beautiful interior decoration including many pieces of unique furniture out of wood made in Indonesia and the exotic garden with its pond, whirlpool and pavilion are inviting the guests to spend wonderful and relaxing afternoon hours inside or outside in the sun. How lucky Christine and her guest were on that day that the weather was indeed perfect.

Matching the exotic scenery, AWI was playing ambient sound with his saxophone and didgeridoo, accompanying us nicely through the evening. I am sure nobody has ever heard this kind of combination of the typical Australian instrument played to ambient melodies - very special indeed. As a final highlight of the evening, the opera singer and owner of the Bali house, Gabriella Fritschi was singing "You raise me up" for all of us.

Responsible for the guests' culinary tour through Indonesia, India and Hungary was the catering staff of Gasthof Kreuz in Egerkingen - always excellent whenever it comes to fulfilling special wishes for one's catering services. Everything they cooked for us was very delicious, but truly one of the visual highlights was the dessert buffet and the birthday cake with its 40 candles nicely presented on top of a huge mirror.

So, eventually the big celebration was over - as always far too soon - and the guests had to go back home from their short "holiday" in Bali.
