René - 70 years

May 29, 2011
Partial organization and event management of a milestone birthday party.

Concept

The organization and planning of René's 70th birthday was mostly done by René himself and his wife, including the choice of the location: the museum for "Musikautomaten" in Seewen. The Wonderful Events team was hired to coordinate the rest and be the contact person for the guests at all times before and during the party as well as to be responsible for various surprises and musical intermezzos during the course of the evening.

Brief Description

René's 70th birthday - a very special day indeed which one should celebrate at an extraordinary location. He himself chose the museum for "Musikautomaten" in Seewen. This is by no means an ordinary museum. The specially guided tour brings you back in time together with the whole atmosphere created by the museum and the music of back then. But it is not only a museum; one can also celebrate in the restaurant "Drehorgel" attached to it (if one wishes a special menu for a group of people, food is delivered by the restaurant "Zur Brücke" in Grellingen). Especially if the weather is nice and sunny, the terrace of the restaurant, from where one has a wonderful view, is perfect for a little reception, before going inside for dinner or lunch.

One of the highlights of the evening certainly was the organ concert by Daniela Achermann who played on the famous organ of the Britannic, i.e. the sister ship of the Titanic (which is now among the precious properties of the museum). To see this organ is already impressive, but to hear it played live is just awesome.

There were also more highlights, performances, presentations and little surprises by the guests during the evening which were all coordinated and embedded in the course of the evening by the Wonderful Events team.
