The team

The Wonderful Events team is basically me, Christine Frei, and my husband, Lukas. We have both experience in the field of organizing different events and love being creative. At the same time, we constantly update our network and try to get as many different and interesting suppliers in our database as possible to be able to recommend just the perfect solutions for you. Since Christine has a university degree in English and Lukas has spent 4 years living abroad in the US, it won't be a problem for us to handle everything in English.

Christine Frei - event planner

From early on, I liked being at weddings and being part of the team that help make the wedding day a day to remember. Whereas before it used to be by playing the panflute (alone or in a group) during the wedding ceremony or at the reception, my interests have shifted towards organizing and help preparing the actual wonderful moments - weddings and events. This "passion" has emerged after having planned and organized my own wedding and that of 2 friends. After that I decided to get an official diploma as a wedding planner at the SEKO-SWISS GmbH, and since then I like to realize, whenever possible, all kinds of dreams and wishes for your events.

I was born in 1973 and I have been happily married to Lukas since 2007. My interests are music/playing the panflute, languages (German is my mother tongue, and I fluently speak English and Spanish, some French and basic Arabic), travelling and getting to know different cultures and customs, cooking and collecting recipes from all over the world. I am a good listener, I love being creative and the biggest reward I can get is to make people smile.

Lukas Frei - consultant

My responsibilities at Wonderful Weddings/Wonderful Events are diverse. As the co-owner of a web factory with 8 employees, planning, organizing and remaining calm in hectic times are my strengths. At Wonderful Events I am responsible for IT questions and Internet presence.

At big events, I am present as a second person supporting the team ensuring all timings are on schedule and the guests can enjoy the day.

Moreover, I work as a "location scouter" trying to find more and more interesting venues for your wedding and events.
